Palm App Catalog Coming Soon

Apple’s App Store has paved the way for everybody to implement their own online application stores, and even Google has followed suit with its Marketplace, so it really shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone to see that Palm will be launching a Palm App Catalog for their shiny new webOS. Palm has already announced the Palm Mojo Application Framework which will allow developers to build applications for Palm webOS, and will be based on HTML5, CSS and JavaScript standards. The App Catalog coupled with the newly-announced Palm Pre should give Palm the much needed boost that it has been trying to get, and hopefully this will help Palm stay afloat.
