Motorola Layoffs 4000

It’s certainly grim news, made worse by the current economic climate. News has surfaced that Motorola will be laying off about 4,000 of its staff, which honestly shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise, considering that we should all be familiar with the problems that Motorola is facing at the moment. Hopefully Motorola’s decision to focus on Google’s Android platform will help it churn out some cool new handsets to stop the ship from sinking.
