Microsoft Wants Your Phone

Microsoft has patented something that looks quite interesting. We’re talking about what Microsoft calls a “Smart interface system for mobile communications devices”, which is supposed to allow you to dock your smartphone to this special cradle, which can connect to a network, external hard drive, keyboard and mouse, and not to mention a LCD display. This kind of development really doesn’t come as too much of a surprise to anyone, as a lot of the smartphones that we’re using today have more processing power than desktops did several years back. The device will supposedly have its own processor, memory and embedded OS, though if it already has all that, why it would it need your phone? Still, it’s something that is certainly worth looking into.
