MemoryUp Personal Isn't Good For You

All might not be rosy in the world of Google’s Android Market. Apparently the app “MemoryUp Personal” isn’t a very nice thing. Users who have installed it have reported of email accounts being spammed, adware installed, and even SD cards being erased, all thanks to this seemingly innocent app. This will probably raise the issue of the Android Market’s approval process (if there even is one), and some suggest that Google might need to take an approach similar to Apple’s approval process for the App Store. We’re not putting a link to this app here, which was a rather simple decision to make.
