Live Search For Verizon Mobile
Microsoft seems to have finally gotten a win over Google, as Verizon will reportedly go with Microsoft Live Search instead of Google’s similar offering, which will see it installed as the default search engine on Verizon mobile phones. The deal, which might be announced during Steve Ballmer’s speech at CES, will see Microsoft share ad revenue with Verizon, getting it between $550 million to $650 million over five years, about twice of what Google offered.
