Less Windows Mobile Devices?

According to latest reports, Todd Peters, vice president of marketing for Windows Mobile has said that Microsoft will be reducing the number of phones that run its Windows Mobile operating system, which will allow it to be more focused and do a better job tailoring the platform to devices on the market. Windows Mobile currently runs on about 140 different handsets, but if Microsoft plans to reduce the number, it will certainly need to make sure they do a good job, to stay in contention with Apple, Nokia and the others.
