It’s hard to understand why users are willing to allow carriers to bully them by offering unlimited data plans, but not allow them to tether the phones. Of course, it’s not that easy to get a carrier to change its spots, but if this latest rumor is to be believed, then iPhone users on AT&T will have something to celebrate about. According to the rumor, the price of tethering your iPhone is $50 for 5GB of data a month, which is the same figure as what BlackBerry users are paying. Of course, all of this is unconfirmed at the moment, but hopefully it will become a reality soon enough.
