SoundClip promises to give your iPhone and boost in volume, and when you look at its $8 price tag, you might be wondering what kind of electronic wizardry might have been involved to keep its price so low. Well, there isn’t anything special really, as the device just creates a tuned conical deflection chamber which makes the sound waves coming from your iPhone reflect towards you, instead of away. It’s said that SoundClip amplifies your iPhone audio by 10dB between 6 kHz and 20 kHz.
