App Store Approval Woes
Apple’s AppStore is certainly a phenomenon, though it’s not without its share of complaints. One of the main things that developers are always irked with is Apple’s review process, which has been questioned again, this time by Freedom Voice Systems, the folks behind the Newber iPhone app. They were preparing to tout the app at the Macworld Expo, but delays in the review process have left the program hanging and still awaiting for approval. They’re understandably frustrated and have created a petition encouraging Apple to clarify the App Store policies, expand the definitions of factors involved in the approval process, provide more detail on the status of submissions and to provide more information as to why an app is rejected.
