No GPS For Egyptian iPhone?

According to latest reports, it seems that Apple will be selling its iPhone 3G in Egypt, but without the GPS feature that we’ve all come to love (and need). Apparently this is because the Egyptian government isn’t keen on the idea of GPS on phones as it could be a military security risk, and it should be limited to the military only. That would certainly explain why there is no mention of GPS in the Egyptian iPhone page by Apple.
