Microsoft Brings Seadragon To The iPhone

While Steve Ballmer probably isn’t a huge fan of the iPhone, Microsoft has released its first application for the iPhone, effectively joining the ranks of iPhone developers out there. Said application is called Seadragon Mobile, which is a free application that allows you to have “infinite zoom” on gigapixel-sized images. While Seadragon is available as a Silverlight application on the desktop, it doesn’t mean that Microsoft is bringing Silverlight to the iPhone. It will be rather interesting to see whether Microsoft will continue to develop apps for the iPhone, and if it does, what app is next?
