Disappointing Figures From RIM

It looks like smartphone sales aren’t doing that well, aside from Apple’s iPhone, that is. If it wasn’t bad enough that RIM lost the top spot to Apple’s iPhone, it has warned that the number of new subscribers to its BlackBerry push e-mail service will fall significantly below its original estimates, which means it’s expecting 2.6 million users instead of the original 2.9 million. RIM is putting the blame on the late launches of the Bold and Storm.
