T-Mobile G1 Gets Virtual Keyboard
Lots of people have been asking for one, and now it looks like T-Mobile’s Android-powered G1 will get its own virtual keyboard, though with the open nature of Android, one shouldn’t be too surprised of such a development. While this is good news for fans who like virtual keyboards, the bad news is that the keyboard is really buggy at the moment, and a lot of people aren’t able to get the keyboard to work on the RC29 and RC30 firmware versions. Aside from that, no matter whether you use the phone in portrait or landscape mode, your keyboard will only be as wide as “QWERTâ€, which makes it one really weird keyboard. However, if you really think that you must have it, then feel free to give it a try. Drop a comment to let us know how it went though.
