Sprint In Lawsuit Over Early Termination Fees

Published

on

Sprint looks like it’s in some rather hot soup this time around, as it is facing a lawsuit over its early termination fees that could cost it up to $1.2 billion. The suit alleges that the $150-$200 fees violated the Federal Communications Act and laws in every state of the country, and if you consider the period between 1999 to 2008, there’s going to be a lot of money involved, which is probably the reason for the $1.2 billion figure. With the financial crisis making things hard for everything, it looks like Sprint is going to feel the sting of this one quite badly.
