Sony Ericsson Touch Patent

Touch screen technology is going to be a hot feature in devices for a long while, and Sony Ericsson definitely wants to leverage on that. A recent patent application by Sony Ericsson shows that they want to use touch to transfer information between devices. This method will require a remote device that is used to register the touches, while another will come with either a touch screen display or a standard one. Will this technology take off if it makes it to our everyday cell phones? Only time will tell.
