Samsung Renown Coming To Verizon

Folks looking for a dual-mode GSM/CDMA handset will be happy to know that Samsung’s Renown will be launched on Verizon on November 19th, featuring a quad-band GSM/EDGE radio, external touch sensitive media player controls, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, 2.0 megapixel camera with video recorder, GPS support via VZNavigator, QVGA internal display and speaker phone. The Renown will be available online through Telesales at $349.99 Month-to Month, $299.99 with a 1-year contract, and $229.99 with a 2 year contract before a $50 mail-in rebate. Retail availability of this phone will be on December 1st.
