Nokia Announces Nokia Home Control Center

Nokia has announced that it’s developing the Nokia Home Control Center, which is a smart home platform. Once implemented, users will be able to access all the solutions setup via their mobile phone, or PC locally. Consumers will also be able to monitor and control their electricity usage, which would be especially useful in the current economic climate, after all, any savings is good savings. This solution will be demonstrated in Barcelona, Spain, during the Nokia World event, and it’s expected to become commercially available by the end of 2009.
