iPhone Displaces The RAZR At The Top
It seems like whenever Motorola is mentioned in a news item, it’s bad news for the company, and this latest report keeps to that trend. A report by market research firm NPD has Apple’s iPhone displacing Motorola’s RAZR as the leading handset purchased by adult consumers in the U.S. in the third quarter of the year. This also proves that there has been a shift in handset design from being just fashionable to being fashionable with functionality. With the rut that Motorola has itself in, it sure doesn’t look like it will regain the top spot anytime soon, and might even drop to third place, and be replaced by RIM’s BlackBerry Curve at the number 2 spot. Who knows, right?
