Google Android Trademark

It looks like even Google doesn’t always get everything the way it wants, as it was denied the trademark of the term “Android” on August 20th this year. It was rather quiet after that for a while, and now word on the street is that Google’s attorneys are appealing the decision with the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. While it won’t be easy for Google to get a trademark on a word that is quite common, but you have to give them brownie points for persistence.
