Fido To Be Rebranded
Fido acts more or less like a discount brand after it was bought over by Rogers in 2004, and now, Fido is going to be completely rebranded to a genuine discount brand, and will probably take on other low cost carriers like Telus’ Koodo, Bell’s Solo Mobile and Virgin Mobile Canada. Some of the rebranding exercises will include the elimination of system access fees, lowering the costs of its plans and offering more low-end phones.
