ZTE U990

ZTE has unveiled the first HSDPA/TD-SCDMA mobile phone – the U990. The TD-SCDMA is a rising star in China, so won’t be surprising to see phones supporting it start to mushroom all over the place. The phone features Windows Mobile 6.0, a touch screen interface and A-GPS. With its HSDPA support, it should be able to hit a data transfer rate of 2.8Mbps, which is quite good, though 7.2Mbps would have obviously been better.
