ZTE Readies The Vodafone 1231

ZTE looks like it’s trying to join the smartphone market, as reports are filtering in that the Vodafone 1231 has shown up at the FCC, and pictures of the phone have now appeared on the Internet, complete with Vodafone branding. The phone features a QVGA display and GPS on a large 2.5-inch display, 64MB RAM, 1.3 megapixel camera, though it surprisingly lacks 3G and Wi-Fi, which means that it definitely won’t be able to compete with the top-end phones of today.
