Will The Samsung i910 Omnia Have Wi-Fi?

A lot of people are debating as to whether Verizon’s upcoming version of the Samsung Omnia, the SCH-i910, will have Wi-Fi or not. Verizon really doesn’t have a good track record of providing users with phones that have Wi-Fi, so a lot of people just assume that the i910 will only support EV-DO. The twist in the story is that a Wi-Fi Alliance certificate has cropped up and shows the i910 as a “Phone, dual-mode (Wi-Fi and cellular). Does this mean that the i910 will have Wi-Fi? That may be true, but just remember that it takes very little effort for them to remove Wi-Fi from the specifications.
