T-Mobile G1 Gets Unlocked

It was only a matter of time before it happened, and going by the popularity of T-Mobile’s Android, it was bound to happen sooner than other phones. The folks over at “Unlock T-Mobile G1” are asking for $22.99 and your phone’s IMEI code, after which you’ll receive an eight digit unlock code for your G1. The only downer on the whole thing is that users seem to be unable to login to Gmail, nor access the Android Market, but we’re sure those issues will be sorted out sometime soon.
