Sharp SH-01A Visits The FCC
It’s hard to believe Sharp’s SH-01A clamshell phone is considered a basic handset in Japan, as we’re only just beginning to get phones that have 8 megapixel cameras. The phone is currently paying the FCC a visit, though we probably won’t be getting this phone locally. The reason the phone is going through the FCC’s tests is probably only to make sure it can be used for roaming purposes over here. Features of this “basic†phone include:
- 28mm wide-angle lens
- 8 megapixel CCD sensor
- Dolby Pro Logic II surround sound
- microSD memory card slot
