OpenMoko To Get On Android Bandwagon

Though there are a lot of phone manufacturers out there who are starting to embrace Google’s Android platform, probably because they’ve seen how popular T-Mobile’s G1 has been. One company that you would be sure that it would join the party would be OpenMoko. OpenMoko will be working on a new handset known as the GTA02 from November onwards, and it will be powered by Android. The GTA02 should be similar to the Neo FreeRunner and will have a 400-500MHz processor, 128MB RAM, 256MB flash memory, a-GPS and a laser pen, which supposedly can double up as a presentation device.
