Nokia N79 Approved By The FCC

Nokia’s successor to the N78, the N79, has been approved by the FCC. While this means that the phone shouldn’t take too long be officially released, the lack of improvements over the N78 means that aside from the newer keypad design, the phone has almost identical specifications as the N78. Both the N78 and N79 will sport the same 5 megapixel camera, 3G connectivity, GPS navigation, Wi-Fi and Carl Zeiss optics.
