If you’re disappointed that your phone doesn’t have a GPS chip, have no fear, as Google has innovated yet again, with My Location With Wi-Fi, your phone will be able to use nearby Wi-Fi access points to figure out where you are. They state that since the range of a Wi-Fi access point is smaller than that of a cell phone tower, the results should be more accurate, unless you aren’t able to find a place with Wi-Fi.
