iPhone Heart Monitor

Here’s a rather unusual application for your iPhone. The heart rate monitor application will allow you to use your iPhone’s microphone to hear and measure your heart beat. You can position the phone directly on your bare chest, or if you’re the shy type, you could always use a headphone cable microphone to place the microphone under your jaw. The app supposedly works better on the iPhone 3G, so if you’re using a first-gen iPhone, you’ll probably have to resort to the headphone/mic method.
