Intel Blames ARM For iPhone Problems
The iPhone may not be the most powerful mobile phone on the planet, but that certainly doesn’t mean that it lacks a punch. Whatever the reason behind it, it looks like Intel is picking a fight with ARM, as its VP of the mobility group, Shane Wall said “Any sort of application that requires any horse power at all and the iPhone struggles.” While he might have a point, unless Intel has some really cool processor that is suited for the iPhone, then maybe it shouldn’t go around saying bad things about others. The Atom is a cool processor, but the iPhone’s battery certainly wouldn’t be able to keep up with it.
