iBeer or iPint?

You’ve probably seen the iBeer application for the iPhone before, as it creates a virtual pint of beer on your iPhone that you can swirl around and will respond to tilts on your iPhone, thus you can “drink” the beer on the iBeer by slowly tipping your iPhone. The creator of iBeer, Steve Sheraton, isn’t impressed that Coors has created a similar app called iPint, and is suing the company for $12.5 million in damages and lost profits. While it seems like an extremely large amount for a rather gimmicky application, the popularity of the application on Apple’s AppStore suddenly makes the figure seem rather realistic.
