Handango Arrives Before Marketplace

Google’s Android Market will definitely be a hit with Android users, but that doesn’t mean that Handango won’t be able to succeed with its own online store for Android apps, and to top it off, Handango has launched its online store earlier than Google. Developers have several options for their applications, including offering the apps for free, a one-time payment, or subscription terms. Why a developer would want to put his app on Handango for free instead of the Marketplace is anybody’s guess, but then again, there probably won’t be anything stopping him from putting the app on both places.
