Gmail Causing iPhone Mail To Crash?

Several users have mentioned that there is an issue with Gmail that cause the iPhone’s Mail application to crash. To make matters worse, it seems that any application that tries to access Gmail, which includes Contacts, will crash when Gmail data is present.

As of now, it seems like there are 3 possible solutions to this problem, and they are:

• Reset network settings: Settings > General > Reset network settings
• Restore the iPhone in iTunes.
• Change password Navigate to your Gmail account page on a computer and change the account’s password. Next, delete the Gmail account from the iPhone and re-establish it.
