Ballmer Says Android Is Just Version One

Steve Ballmer doesn’t look or sound too worried about Google’s Android platform, as he’s claiming that it won’t be attractive to other handset manufacturers because it’s “version one…and it looks like version one.” He has already boasted that “they’ve got one handset maker, we’ve got 55. They’re available through one operator, we’ve got 175”. While his statistics might be correct, he probably forgot that HTC isn’t exactly a small player in the handset market, nor is T-Mobile. Not to mention that other manufacturers are gearing up to get on the Android bandwagon too.
