Android Marketplace Loses A Lot Of Apps

If you’re one of those lucky people who received their G1 phones early, it looks like amidst all the good news, there is also bad news. It seems that Google has removed a lot of the applications on the Andriod Marketplace, leaving only 13 applications on the marketplace. We’re not sure whether it’s a response to the phones being sent out early, though there are reports that say that this is due to an update to the Marketplace, and the older applications that haven’t been updated to meet the new specifications aren’t available just yet. Whether this explanation is correct or not will remain to be seen. Hopefully we’ll get all those cool applications back on the Marketplace soon.
