Access ALP 3.0 And ALP Mini

Published

on

The news that Access ALP 3.0 and ALP mini are just about ready would have been big news way back when PalmOS was still a popular choice amongst pda phones, unfortunately those days are probably gone. It looks like ALP 3.0 will focus on those fancy, transition effects, while ALP mini is a stripped-down version for normal use. Both of these versions are Linux-based, though ALP Mini drops Garnet compatibility and can’t run native Linux apps. NTT DoCoMo is planning to have some ALP phones in the second half of 2009. Will ALP be able to challenge Google’s Android? It sure doesn’t look likely, but all the best to it anyways.
