3.1 Inch OLED Display At CEATEC

KDDI is parading a 3.1-inch OLED display made by Samsung at this year’s CEATEC. Said display is capable of displaying images up to 800 x 480, which means it could support DVD resolution videos, boosting the multimedia capabilities of your mobile phone. While this display is still at a prototype stage, it’s only a matter of time before this kind of technology makes it way to everyday consumer products.
