Xperia Will Not Run Android

While the initial report that future Xperia phones might not be running Windows Mobile sparked lots of suggestions that it might be Android-powered in the future, Sony Ericsson has moved to quash the idea. In an interview with VNUNet in Copenhagen, SE said that while they did check out Android, they found that it was unsuitable for their purposes. This will probably come as a disappointment to many, as there aren’t that many mobile operating systems out there, so if they’re striking Android off, there aren’t too many left to pick from.
