Vertu Coming To Japan

Vertu has announced that it’ll be opening its Vertu Boutique in Tokyo’s Ginza district, allowing rich Japanese people to purchase its insanely expensive Vertu phones locally. The first phone it will be offering to the Japanese customers will supposedly be its Signature S Design, which will be offered on NTT DoCoMo or Softbank. Apparently it’ll be offering the gold and platinum variants, and pricing will be somewhere between ¥890,000 and ¥5,000,000 (about $8,400 to $47,400). No matter which continent it’s in, a Vertu phone sure isn’t going to be cheap, and that’s the whole idea of course.
