Verizon Introduces City ID

Verizon Wireless has announced their new City ID service for the LG Voyager. City ID will automatically display information such as the city and state where an incoming number is registered, which supposedly helps customers recognize unknown numbers. The service has information on more than 20,000 cities in North America, which should be enough information to be useful in identifying numbers that are calling them. Verizon subscribers who purchase the LG Voyager will receive a free 15-day trial of the City ID application, and if they’re satisfied, the cost of City ID is $1.99 per month.
