The Next Xperia To Stick With Windows Mobile

As we already know, Sony Ericsson hasn’t limited the future of the Xperia brand to Microsoft’s Windows Mobile OS only. Aside from the reports that Sony Ericsson doesn’t think that Google’s Android is suitable for their future Xperia handsets, more news has surfaced indicating that the next Xperia device will still be powered by Windows Mobile. Considering that Sony Ericsson has not joined the Android Open Handset Alliance, and Windows Mobile’s popularity in the smartphone market is rather good, it’s quite understandable that Sony Ericsson decides to stick with Windows Mobile, for the moment at least.
