Tesco Talk Wi-Fi

Tesco UK has launched their new service, dubbed Talkwifi, which basically allows their customers to make cheap mobile calls using VoIP over Wi-Fi. The service was developed by an Australian company Freshtel, and will require users to download an app to use this service. Once everything is setup nicely, users within a free Wi-Fi area can make calls at a rather cheap rate. The only disappointing bit is the current limited phone support, all of which are Series 60 devices. Supported devices include Nokia’s E51, E81, N95 and E65, with more handsets to be supported in the future.
