T-Mobile G1 Lacks 3.5mm Headphone Jack

While Amazon’s MP3 store application for T-Mobile’s G1 makes people think that the G1 is geared towards music playback, the lack of a 3.5mm headphone jack seems to indicate otherwise. Engadget has snagged a shot of the USB connector at the bottom of the G1; clearly showing that there isn’t a 3.5mm jack there. So unless there is a 3.5mm headphone jack hidden on some other part of the phone, it looks like you’ll have to use an adapter if you plan to use your usual headphones with the G1.
