Sony Ericsson Greenheart Concept Phone

Sony Ericsson has a new concept phone that doesn’t look like it will be hitting retail stores anytime soon. The GreenHeart concept phone (if you didn’t already guess by its name) aims to be more environmentally friendly as it’s designed to be environmentally sustainable throughout its entire life cycle, thanks to housings make from bio-plastics, recycled plastic keypads, a charger with a 3.5mW standby power, green packaging and even HTML-based electronic user manuals. Judging by how often people change their cell phones, it looks like a good idea for mobile phones to go green, though how soon we’ll be able to see green handsets and how well they will be accepted will remain to be seen.
