Separating Mobile Phone
Here’s a novel idea that DoCoMo is showing at this year’s CEATEC, a flip-phone that can be separated into two separate pieces. While you might be scratching your head wondering why anybody would want to do that, there are certain benefits to this. For example, if you were watching a movie on your phone, you could sit back (a little) and use the keypad piece as a remote control. If you wanted to upgrade the display on your phone, it might even be possible for you to just purchase a better model display, much like how we can chop and change our computer monitors. The two parts of the phone are held together by some magnetic mechanism, and rest assured, the bind is fairly strong, so your phone probably won’t fall apart inside your bag.
