Samsung Omnia Variant Visits The FCC

North American users are probably disappointed that Samsung’s Omnia only comes with UMTS 2100 MHz support only, which obviously means that you don’t get 3G. While Samsung hasn’t mentioned anything officially yet, two similar looking (and sounding) phones called the i910 and i907 have showed up at the FCC recently. The i910 is a CDMA phone with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and is expected to end up with Verizon Wireless. The i907 on the other hand looks different, but is rumored to be the Omnia for AT&T. Since there isn’t any official confirmation yet, we’ll just to have wait and see if this prediction will actually come true.
