Qantas To Implement Boarding Via Mobile

Starting from early 2009, Qantas plans to implement a new online check-in option, which includes allowing users to receive a 2D barcode on their mobile phone which can be scanned at the gate. The goal is to allow customers to have a paperless experience, from booking, to check-in and boarding. It seems like the mobile phone is becoming more and more of a necessity of our modern lives.
