Omnia To Support G-Sensor Software

While both Samsung’s Omnia and HTC’s Touch Diamond (and Touch Pro) have built-in accelerometers, software designed to utilize HTC’s G-sensor won’t work on Samsung’s Omnia, as both devices implement it differently. The good news is a user has developed a translation layer which will allow Samsung’s Omnia to use most of the applications designed for HTC’s Touch Diamond. The translation software isn’t perfect yet, so do take it with a pinch of salt, and always be careful when installing third party software on your phone.
