Gmail Free On T-Mobile G1

While Google’s Gmail service is obviously free, the mobile data charges associated to it when you use it on your mobile isn’t, unless you’re running T-Mobile’s G1. This might seem rather useless to many users, as owners of the G1 most likely will have subscribed to an unlimited data package. If you’re using this free service, you will be served ads on your Gmail, but initial reports indicate that those ads are non-intrusive. In the end, if you don’t plan on getting an unlimited data plan, this free service looks like a great way to promote the G1.
