AT&T Data Outage Hits East Coast

You may not have woken up to the best of news, or you might not have received the news at all, as it seems that AT&T’s wireless data network is down in certain parts of the East Coast. An AT&T spokesman has said that they’re looking into the problem. So far the problem seems to be occurring in Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Illinois and Missouri. Voice service hasn’t been disrupted, as the problems are mainly related to data. Perhaps unsurprisingly, most of the outage reports came from iPhone users, a sign that users are very inclined to browse the net or use data services on the iPhone.
